Description
This intricately carved stone is inlaid with gold and platinum is about the size of a human finger digit. It grants a being who has sparked access to spells only planeswalkers can cast. Once this jewel is put in orbit around the head of the sparked being, they gain a temporary level as the planeswalker class. With the first usage of this item each day to cast a planeswalker spell, the caster may curse a being within 30 ft. with a temporary negative level, Will save DC 20 negates this effect. Each planeswalker spell cast through the cartouche that causes damage to another creature, gives the caster that many hit points. This does not change the amount in their mana pool.
After the being, has sparked, the gain access to a finite amount of mana pool points equal to its hit points at the beginning of the day. The sparked creature cannot cast a planeswalker spell higher than that could normally cast as a spellcaster. They cannot cast more planeswalker spells than they could cast normal spells Each colorless spell costs 1d2 points while black colored mana cost 1d4 points to cast. Each usage of their mana pool takes away from their life. Every planeswalker spell cast through the cartouche, gives a progressive chance to destroy the item. Each mana pool amount used gives that much of a chance for it to be used up. For example, if a spell cost 4 colorless and 2 colored mana, there is a 4d2 + 2d4 % chance of cartouche destruction. After half of the sparked creature’s mana pool is used up for the day this becomes a total % chance of your mana pool used for destruction of the magical item. For example, if the sparked being has used 65% of his mana pool for the day, the chance of destruction of the cartouche is 65%. This keeps the planeswalker from using all his mana pool every day. If a cartouche is destroyed, a magical surge will happen and a 50% chance that the planeswalker spell fizzles.

Once this jewel is put in orbit around the head of the sparked being, they gain a temporary level as the planeswalker class. With the first usage of this item each day to cast a planeswalker spell, the caster creates a 1st level eidolon human fighter with maximum hit points and martial abilities that always wins initiative in the first round of combat.
After the being, has sparked, the gain access to a finite amount of mana pool points equal to its hit points at the beginning of the day. The sparked creature cannot cast a planeswalker spell higher than that could normally cast as a spellcaster. They cannot cast more planeswalker spells than they could cast normal spells. Each colorless spell costs 1d2 points while white colored mana cost 1d4 points to cast. Each usage of their mana pool takes away from their life. Any allied creature within 30 ft. of the sparked being when their first planeswalker spell is cast for the day gains +1 to the next five saving throws it makes for the day and gains the conditions of the flying spell as if cast by the sparked being. This does not take effect if the caster is not able to cast the fly spell.
